Employee Handbook
Work From Home (WFH) Policy
Guidelines and procedures for working from home, ensuring efficient operations while maintaining team collaboration. Applies to all full-time employees who have successfully passed their probationary period.
Allocation & monthly limits
WFH allowances are allocated by department, based on operational needs:
| Department | Max WFH days / month |
|---|---|
| Tech | 8 days |
| Creative | 6 days |
| Operations | 4 days |
| Support Functions (Finance, Commercial, HR) | 2 days |
In shortened business weeks (weeks with public holidays, or shorter than 5 days), a maximum of 1 WFH day is allowed.
Scheduling restrictions
- WFH is not permitted directly before or after a long weekend or official public holiday.
- WFH cannot be taken for two consecutive days.
Submission process
- How to apply: submit requests digitally through the official Google Form.
- Notice period: requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before the requested WFH day.
- Prior approval: the full approval cycle must be completed before the WFH day.
Late submissions
Any WFH request submitted after the actual day will automatically be considered and deducted as "Annual Leave."
Team availability
Coordinate with your direct manager to ensure that a minimum of 50% of the team is physically present in the office on any given day.
Administrative requirements
It's mandatory to ensure your timesheets are completely up to date prior to taking a WFH day.
Project & meeting considerations
- Client deliveries: avoid scheduling WFH on days when client deliveries are due (Operations will factor this in when reviewing requests).
- Key meetings: WFH is not permitted on biweekly meeting days.
- Team cooperation: avoid WFH if your tasks require extensive in-person collaboration (your direct manager will evaluate this when reviewing requests).
Eligibility & exceptions
- Employees currently in their probationary period are not eligible for WFH.
- Managers are responsible for ensuring their team's compliance with this policy.
- All stakeholders in the approval cycle must review and respond to WFH requests within the same day of submission.
- Any exceptions to the standard policy must be formally approved by Senior Management.
